Raag Chandrakauns
This is my first attempt in recording and editing all by myself. The crazy time that we have been going through for the last couple of months had gotten me so down that I couldn’t do anything, which is why I haven’t been uploading much.
During this time I found great comfort in teaching. I have the most wonderful and loving bunch of students who are scattered all over the world. Also, my Guru, Vidushi Mita Nag, has been a major source of inspiration for me to not give up.
This also gave me a lot of time to really think about this music and I found that, in a way, this music isn’t mine; it’s of those who came before me and of all those who will come after. Time and not being able to practice and concentrate has taken a toll on my playing, so I know there are some mistakes for which I ask for your forgiveness. I plan to start recording again regularly and hopefully I will get back my quality soon if not better.
